I was able to get the Co-op musical downloaded and uploaded onto youtube this morning. It is quite long but worth watching. Mark enjoyed it and said it was almost like Sight and Sound Theater at the end.
I had a busy morning. I found a fire pit on Facebook market place listed for $35.00 so sent a message and was able to go pick that up at 9:00 am.
The people staying in the 5th wheel checked out a little early so as soon as I got home that was cleaned and made ready for the couple coming in at noon today. The new fire pit was put by the 5th wheel along with a couple hot dog forks, kindling, and logs. I took the golf cart over to the new barn and grabbed some chairs. Two were put by this fire pit and the other 6 were taken to the side yard where the second fire pit was set up for the apartment renters. They were also given a table, kindling, hotdog forks and plenty of wood for a fire tonight. Both of our airbnb rentals wanted to sit around a fire tonight and the weather is perfect for that. Mark wanted to put the bush hog on the smaller Kubota but one of the metal pieces for that job had been bent last summer. We worked together on that but could not get it to work so Mark ordered another part on-line. I left then for Aldi in Pekin and ended up spending $120.00 but it was needed. Our fridge was almost empty. Walking is getting so hard to do, that I keep putting off shopping. Only 17 more days until the new hip. I bought food for Sunday dinner and for our company coming on the Tuesday dinner. The weanlings are now in with Rosalie, Jewel and Madiera and they were all hanging out by the fence this afternoon. Jewel and Madiera were grooming each other for a long time.
Rosalie is such a beautiful mare but for sure bossy with the weanlings. They were hanging back waiting for her to move away before they came over.
Valerie, the filly without the halter is Rosalie's sister, Lily's daughter from 2022. The filly in the blue halter is Tessa, Rosaleigh's 2022 filly and Indy's colt is in a green halter a bit behind Tessa but the board is in the way so the halter can't be seem.
Check out the video below, Jewel and Madiera start grooming one one side then they switch so the other side can be groomed too. Rosalie asks the weanlings to move and when Valerie doesn't move quick enough she turns her rear end to her but does not kick out because Valerie gives the correct response.
Faith and Mackenson came this morning and got most of the mowing done before noon. Faith came back later to mow around the new barn. We are so thankful for their help.
I've been ordering equipment, for the upcoming hip surgery and everything came weeks ago except the sock assist. That was the one piece of equipment I needed right away as it is hard to bend. I ordered it a couple months ago and that was a no show then it was ordered again about 3 weeks ago and it finally arrived. Now it won't take so long to get dressed each morning.
