Rosaleigh had a colt. I slept right through the delivery and didn't discover him until 6:00 am. All is well. He was still wet when I arrived.. Not a good picture as it was still pretty dark.
He was able to stand on his own.
He tottered right over to his mama for some milk. 
Rosaleigh is a wonderful mom and when she lets her milk down it pours out. In the video below she actually makes a puddle. It had slowed but was still coming out when the camera was turned off.
They were taken into the stall which had been prepared for her yesterday. He has a nice soft bed to sleep and she doesn't have to worry about predators. Rosaleigh may need some help delivering the placenta as she has retained it in the past and this way I can keep an eye on her. Once in the stall he was glad to nurse again. That walking is hard work.
This colt is by Evan so will inherit the mega hair from both sire and dam. He is already sold.
