Killian was so good today, he walked, trotted and cantered quietly both directions. Check out how far all 4 feet are off the ground in this trot.
He slipped right into the canter perfectly.
Emily finished up with trick training asking him to bow then lay down.
He was such a good boy! We grained him over by the breeding stanchion. Valiant was hanging by the gate just hoping for attention.
After the walk Emily, Karin and I got the mower deck installed on the big tractor so Emily could mow the pond field and the trails. She ran out of gas so worked on painting the outdoor arena fencing then after lunch picked up gas and finished mowing.
Diane and I went in to work on processing and mailing out the Bibles we weren't able to finish on Tuesday. All of the individual letters were processed. I still have to process the Chaplain letters.
Darcy and Emma were ready to cool off in Diane's pond. When we got there mom and Diane were already out floating in the middle.
Mom said she was doing her water therapy for her new knee. Is that what it looks like to you?
The dogs had a blast. Below is Darcy swimming with Emily.
All of these pictures were taken this afternoon and posted just for Rachel. She so enjoys the dogs. Heidi liked to sit up on the hill and watch mom and Diane swim.
Abby desperately needed a bath, she had to roll in the mud right after Emily was done washing her.Studly spent the time hunting. He would stick his entire face in the water trying to catch a fish.
Emma enjoyed just sitting in the cool refreshing water.
Valiant was busy today, he covered Mytross around noon then Ribbon this evening. Karin picked up the living quarter trailer from Middle Grove and brought home Marika from Rainbow Riders. We have Dr. Hoerr coming tomorrow for ultrasounds and would like to find out where she is in her cycle.
