Work, what Work

The trailer did not get cleaned out in fact it didn't even get moved off the yard. Way to lazy yesterday to actually get out and work. Instead the day was spent in front of the computer trying to learn a new program for high definition videos. This program is not going to be easy as far as editing but the final results are so much more clear it will be worth the work. The youtube upload failed during the night in the final video of the judging and was restarted this morning. It's not that interesting but shows how quiet the boys and Ciera are with hundreds of kids surrounding them so probably should be put up on their pages on the website.
Today will be a make up day, all the work that should have been done yesterday AND all the work that must be done today. Rain is predicted which means no UPSing out the Bibles. They cannot sit on the loading dock waiting for the truck in the rain. Bummer there are more than 500 requests to go out.
Yesterday when I drove up to the farm, the 2 boys were sound asleep in the hay. They were always playing and showing off all weekend and were also exhausted. Steven has done such a good job with them. Thinking over everything that happened the biggest blessing was Steven. He was always the first to the barn and the last to leave. He kept those 8 horses fed and watered, cleaned stalls, moved horses and worked the boys. We could not have done it without him. How thankful we are that he was willing to come, willing to drive his truck and the stock trailer loaded with 5 horses, and willing to work long hours. GREAT JOB STEVEN!
Karin stated to one of her friends this year she thoroughly enjoyed the horse fair. The vaulters were so prepared, the parents were so supportive and willing to help it just made everything flow nicely. I really should have video taped Alicia and Crystal making the cotton candy. Lets just say they did ok but there was sugar flying everywhere. Crystal was fantastic at the popcorn machine and Dwayne, Alicia's husband turned out to be a pro at making and selling the hot salty treat.
Funny, I kind of missed not having to stand for hours working the machines chatting with all the people but not enough to give up talking Friesians with customers.
We are anxious both in a good way and in a bad way to see Rachel's pictures. Anxious because we know they will be wonderful and anxious because we know we will want to buy them ALL! I heard she got great pictures of the vaulters so you mom's out there are going to want to see these also.
OK, TIME to get READY for WORK!
