Hezekiah

I'm reading of King Hezekiah's reign, he did what was right in God's eyes, destroying the idols and turning the hearts of his subjects back to God. Hezekiah's tunnel was a miraculous feat to bring water into Jerusalem in case of a siege by the Assyrians. I just finished the part where Hezekiah was dying, Isaiah told him he would die that day but God heard his prayers for life, told Isaiah to turn around go back and tell him he would live another 15 years, then to prove it would be so Isaiah asked Hezekiah would he like the shadow to go forward 10 steps or back 10 steps. Hezekiah asked the shadow to go back 10 steps. Can we imagine that the earth would stop it's rotation and rotate the other way? There is nothing too hard for God and God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I'm so glad He is MY God!
Mom cooked a great breakfast this morning and invited me to join her before the planned long day of work that must be done today. She made the best sausage, buying bulk sausage and adding her own spices and liquid smoke. That along with the 2 farm fresh eggs and thin rye toast really hit the spot.
The truck was taken out to the farm this morning so the trailer could be brought back to the house for cleaning and packing for the fair. Autumn was loaded and taken to Amy's barn, Amy will bring her down to the fair on Friday for her new owner. Greg Reed was putting up the trim at the apartment and offered to help load all the trinkets for the fair and the heavy awkward popcorn machine. I was very glad for the help. The trip to TSC was completely wasted, I went for 14 bags of equine fresh bedding and they were completely out. Steven was called, he was near the Washington, IL TSC, sure enough that TSC had the bedding, Steven purchased 14 bags of that plus one bag of grain and loaded it into his truck. Sam's Club was next on the list of to do jobs, 50 pounds of popcorn, 3 gallons of oil, 2 foldable 4ft tables, dog food, a hundred blank CD's and some groceries were purchased on the credit card, almost $200.00 of supplies. I don't usually put groceries on the credit card but felt it was necessary for this trip.
The music for the Friesian demo was burned on 2 CD's and put in the truck along with the coggin papers for all the horses going.
We have church to look forward to tonight.
