It pretty much drizzled this entire gray day. The only job accomplished was getting the popcorn machine out of the trailer, into the house and giving it a good cleaning. The trailer still needs to be cleaned out but the rain was a good excuse not to do the job. We can't have our expensive horse stuff getting wet.
Rhoda and Sarah are spending the night in Bloomington with Addyson then meeting me at the Walmart in Morton tomorrow at 7:45am for our trip to Girard, IL to look at a pony. This is not a paint but sounds promising. We are taking the trailer just in case.
We had a minister from Gridley tonight and he was very interesting and knowledgeable. He spoke on Samson and brought up many points usually glossed over. We all know the story so well, but what I didn't know is that when Samson left at midnight and took the city gates, posts and frame and went up the hill to Hebron, it was not just a short walk up a hill it was 38 MILES and climbing. The strength of Samson must have been amazing to behold.
After church we joined the Culver's group and split a walleye dinner. The fish was good but the company even better. Sheryl Grassi, Janie and girls, John & Dot, Mark & Cathy pretty much go every Wed. night and John & Dot drink REGULAR coffee!
