Our eye lashes were catching snow flakes on our walk this morning. The flurries lasted well into the morning but thank goodness no accumulation. Steven Marchal showed up to start on the paddocks. Hopefully the sun will come out tomorrow to dry things up. Wynne was not showing yet but let Raven sniff her all over so she may be coming in. Lily was in her foal heat big time but won't be bred until the next cycle. No sign at all for Dalia.
Work today was brutal, Eva Jean and I worked as fast as possible but did not finish by lunch. At least the studies were all entered, Eva Jean took them home to finish. Only Spark came to lunch with us today, Dan was in Springfield working with a wind generator, Mark was in a class and Philip in a meeting. Right after lunch Anna and Braelyn needed to be visited, supposedly to drop off a gift from Eva Jean Schafer but really to get my grand daughter fix. Braelyn is doing well, she has a light that straps right to her back and she likes it. She was just so content while we were there.
The transport company let me know that Caden will now be picked up Thursday evening. Steven will bring him to Bridlewood as it is much easier for a transport company to come to Bridlewood than go out to the Hanna City farm.
Just soup for dinner tonight as there is usually a lunch provided at choir.
OH YES, On Saturday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm Cathie Trent is holding a fund raiser here at Bridlewood. Wynne and her adorable filly will be brought over for those 2 hours and cotton candy will be served.
