The Blizzard INSIDE

Sarah ran upstairs to get a pair of socks, came down and told us it is freezing upstairs. Mark keeps the thermostat at 50 degrees on the second and third floor during the day so none of us thought much of her statement until Rhoda went up and came down. The first words out of her mouth were, "get the camera!"
The pictures below were taken INSIDE her room.

We had to scrape it up some just to show that really is her rug under there. The wind gusts of over 40 miles an hour blew her balcony door open. We actually heard it happen less than 15 minutes before this was discovered but thought it was a car door outside. We are very thankful it was caught before we needed to bring the snow shovel INSIDE.
Unbelievable there are bright flashes of lightning and huge crashes of thunder going on right now in Peoria. The lightning is hitting close, this storm is amazing!
