We had breakfast early then went to the barn to finish the painting and we DID! Well we will still have trim to paint but the walls are now done. Hopefully we can pick up the trim soon and start on that. I'm anxious to be done with this project. Dan stopped by with a gift.
Not sure where his gift will go. The apartment guest left at 9:30 am. I drove over to Phil and Anna's to pick up Braelyn as she was going to clean it for me so I could continue painting. Last night at midnight the apartment booked again for today so I was pleased she was willing. We took the laundry down to the house and started it then I went back to the barn to keep painting. Thankfully the barn air conditioner works great, we kept that going the entire time we were working. Each time we stepped outside it was like an oven. We stopped at 2:00 pm. Titus and Aiken were brought into their stalls as it is cooler in the insulated barn, the stalls each have a high velocity fan going and if that doesn't keep them cool we can always turn the stall barn air conditioner on. The laundry machines were changed and the sheets were hung outside on the line to dry. Mark went back to paint but I needed to go to Sam's club for the Sunday supper. When I got home Mark reported the painting was officially finished! Mackenson and Berlica got the mowing done today but Mark didn't have them cut it short as we are not going to have rain for a while and it is going to be very hot. Kensley had her basketball tournament and her team won both of their games, they played at ICC. Taegan's is tonight. I took the golf cart up to the barn to clean stalls as the sun was sinking low. One the way back to the house stopped to take the picture below of the yucca plant. 
The patio area looks like a jungle with all the rain and now heat.
This evening Titus and Aiken were taken outside as now that the sun is gone it is cooler. Today was the hottest day of the season so far. The farmer got the hay raked today and will bale it tomorrow. The last job tonight was to brown the hamburger for tomorrow then get the dishes done. I am SO ready for bed!
