It started raining after the first round of the walk giving me a good excuse to quit. On the drive in the car was making a weird sound and not driving right. I stopped, got out and checked all 4 tires making sure they were not low by feeling if they were hot. They all looked good so continued but drove the rest of the way in to Peoria going about 45 miles an hour. As soon as I reached the shop Mark was told, "there is something seriously wrong with the car." The inside of the front tires were so hot he thinks it is something with the brake pads.
Eva Jean and I had another huge stack of mail. This program just seems to be growing. We can no longer get everything done in one day. We were barely able to get the studies processed, leaving all the letters for Diane next week. Eva Jean worked on just opening the mail from 8:45am to 11:15am.
We quit around noon and had Mark drive the car to the repair shop. Philip followed him in the truck while Eva Jean and I took Eva Jean's car. We met at Denny's for lunch. After lunch Mark helped load Bibles into his van for the Home. After we delivered the Bibles to Skyline we headed home to work on the back garage cleaning it out to make room for the new tractor.
Rhoda and Emily stopped at TSC for 9 bags of grain and mouse poison on their way home from school. Rhoda also couldn't resist buying a couple of huge bones for the dogs. They have been gnawing on these all evening. Mark stayed home from choir to continue working on both garages. Spark and Rhonda served tonight. It is still raining, coming down hard and predicted to rain all day tomorrow. The mud is going to be bad for a few days.
