Released

David was released from the hospital this afternoon. On Thursday his heart stopped and just 2 days later he is back in their Gulf Shores condo. Other than his chest soreness because of a few cracked ribs from the compressions, he is almost as good as new.

We are rejoicing with Rachel and Dave and so very thankful he is alive. I left for Sam's club at 7:30 am and picked up the food for our Sunday dinner then took it straight to the barn. The peppers were cleaned, sliced and then drizzled with olive oil then sprinkled with parmesan cheese first. The 9 pounds of chicken were done next. Those were put in the fridge with some of the other food for tomorrow.
After cleaning up the barn kitchen I went home to clean up that one next. I heard a thud outside and found 2 men delivering the 3 mattresses for the barn. They had plopped those big heavy boxes by our patio door. Mark was over at mom's working on a mower so I got them in the car to take over to the barn.
I wasn't sure if 3 would fit in the car but I got it in.
Mark arrived just as the 3rd box was in the car. He went with me over to the barn to help unload and it went much easier with 2 of us.
Hopefully I can get some help tomorrow after dinner getting the mattresses upstairs. I got notice Anna ordered the faucets for the 3 vanities upstairs along with the light fixtures and the mirrors. She didn't use my credit card so I'll have to find out who I owe on those.  At 4:15 pm Joan left with Spark and Rhonda to go to a dinner at Bob and Myrna's house so mom, Mark and I had dinner at mom's. I made mini chicken egg rolls, cheesy broccoli, stir fry chicken chunks with Chinese noodles and veggies.
After supper Mark went home to read while mom and I watched an old Shirley Temple movie called Rebekah of Sunnybrook Farm
Joan got home about 9:50 pm. They all had a very nice time. It was raining on the way home and right now we are getting a nice shower. It hasn't rained for weeks so this rain is much needed.
