I woke up this morning with a prayer on my heart for the shooter. Praying he could realize what he did was sin and he needs badly to repent. Praying he can humble himself and ask for forgiveness. He is such a lost soul and I wouldn't want to see anyone suffer all eternity in hell. Praying someone can reach him and explain to him the gift of salvation. I needed to be at mom's by 7:45 am as today is Co-op for Joan's family. The walk was called off. I checked on Madiera and her filly but left them out as it was still plenty cool enough. In a box in mom's garage they now have Pickle's granddaughter and her 5 kittens.

5 Kittens
Jessica found them today in a hollowed out tree in Rachel's yard. We knew she had the kittens while we were in Africa but couldn't find them. Berlica will start handling them so they all become nice and tame. Pickles was an amazing mouser, Pickles daughter was also and her granddaughter takes after both. She has one gray kitten, one black and white kitten, one black kitten and 2 red kittens. All are adorable and all will need new homes in 3 or 4 weeks. What is the price of a good mouser? In our area they are much needed. While at mom's I had a request from someone needing the new barn on Sunday from noon to 4:00 pm. Since they promised to be out by 4:00 and it wouldn't interfere with our family dinner I agreed. Tomorrow I will need to give it a good cleaning. Mark is willing to help and also told me Israel is coming so we will hire him for some of that work. Mom and I had a quiet morning. Ruth arrived at noon. Mark and I needed to leave for Naperville by 12:30 pm so I had to rush to get Madiera and her filly in the stall with 2 full water buckets and plenty of hay. It was going to be a hot day. We had an uneventful drive and made it to the place by 3:00 pm. Mark bought a cage for himself. This cage is for him to use when working on the top of the garage so he won't fall. It hooks to our forklift which will be hooked to the loader on the tractor. The only downside is that I will need to run the tractor while he is working from the cage. The place we bought it from was about 10 minutes from Kim's house so we drove over and spent an hour visiting with her.
It was interesting, we saw ducks and a rabbit in her back yard. Each evening the ducks make their way through the yards to where a kind person feeds them.
Once fed they waddle on back to the lake. The rabbit just lives in her yard. There are no loose dogs around to chase it so it seemed pretty tame.
While driving home the apartment rented for tonight. This is for 2 high school boys that are in a fishing tournament tomorrow. They were going to stay in a motel but evidently that was not very nice so their mom instant booked it for them. I was able to send the code by using the phone and they moved right in. They have 2 pickup trucks each hooked up to a boat. As soon as I got home Madiera and her filly were put outside for the night. It is now almost 9:00 pm and I'm more than ready for bed. Thankful for a safe trip.
