We got the picture this morning of mom's newest great grand daughter Eden Joy Meister. This is Dan and Susan's first grandchild. We are so happy for Abram and Addie! Just look at those squeezable cheeks.
Madiera was out of season yesterday, this morning that filly of hers was having the zoomies, galloping around the paddock. Poor Madiera was trying to keep up making sure the other horses didn't bother her. We didn't get much rain, less than 2 tenths of an inch and no rain at all today. When I got to mom's for our walk I saw a big pile one of the horses left yesterday that I would need to clean up right by the fire hydrant. After the walk I had every intention of doing that but Mark wanted breakfast then right after breakfast wanted to put together the 3 queen bed frames upstairs in the barn. We started that job about 9:15 am and the first one was kind of awful. The instructions weren't clear and at one part Mark said they are downright wrong. We figured it out but not after taking things off and just going by the pictures. The second one went much quicker and the 3rd one took even less time than the second one but by the time we finished it was noon and we both needed a break.
We went to the house and crashed each with a cold bottle of water. I left in a few minutes for the Peoria post office to pick up the Berean mail but got stuck behind a nice long train.
I was watching the the train cars go by when my eye caught the decorating on one of the cars.
After that was finally through I went to Sam's to pick up a cheese cake and blueberries for the Berean volunteer's dessert tomorrow. That was dropped off at the Berean office before heading home. Mark got all the screws tightened on the bed frames while I was gone. Tomorrow after Berean I can get the mattresses on them. Phil and Anna worked some on the upstairs and ordered 6 doors from Menards. Mark said he would pick those up tomorrow and just maybe we will have bedroom and bathroom doors soon. Joan needed to leave for a meeting so I cooked a pizza at mom's house and Mark, mom, Berlica, Mackenson enjoyed that.
Spark and Rhonda came over for a visit this evening and of course we talked about David Sauder's amazing recovery. Mom talked to David herself today. He has quite a story of when he was technically dead. He KNOWS there is an afterlife and since I haven't heard it with my own ears I won't repeat it. I left mom's when Joan got back this evening. Only after going to bed did I realize I never went back to clean up the big pile of poop.
