Blessed Baby Girl
Gregg Rumbled had the afternoon message on Colossians 2. Click HERE if you would like to watch that message. We stayed a while after church to visit with Ron and Linda who were visiting from Bluffton and Wayne and Carol who were visiting from Peoria Arizona. Once home the sweet potatoes were put in the oven on 400 degrees then I went over to the barn to get everything ready for the meal. I needed to leave at 3:25 pm to take Taegan to her volley ball practice as Phil and Anna went to watch Kensley who was in a softball tournament and was the pitcher of her team. I picked up Braelyn on the way back so she could eat supper with us. During supper we watched Charlie Kirk's memorial service. It was hard to keep the tears from flowing when his wife Erika spoke.
It as God honoring and all speakers talked about how much Charlie loved his Lord and Savior Jesus. What a loss! Faith took Braelyn home then came back here. Joan took mom, Faith, Berlica and Mackenson to the Peoria Rescue mission. Rhoda tacked up Jewel and Missy then took the kids trail riding.
She and Zion rode the trails first then when they got back Iris rode behind Zion on Missy and Eden rode behind Rhoda on Jewel for the second trail ride. Zeke rode with me on the golf cart.
Zeke told me where to go so I could focus on videoing the trail ride. After the ride they had some fun in the round pen. They rode until dark and the mosquitoes came out.
While they were having fun riding, Nolan, Lee and Mark took the mattresses, bed frames and bedding upstairs into the new bedrooms. I was VERY thankful for their help. Rhoda and Lee took Nancy home. Today we rejoiced for the new birth in the Meister family and mourned for and with Erika Kirk.
