The Canoe Trip

Early this morning, before the sun arose it looked like we were in the Moors of England. It really was gorgeous.

I took a 360 degree video.
Breakfast was made then the group walked over to the Jayden canoe rental place, just down the road. River and Zeke stayed with me as they were just a little too young to canoe. Below they are watching for the busses to leave pulling the canoes.
Nolan sent the picture below of them on the bus heading to the river. They were the only ones on the bus.
We played outside for over an hour.
They were both happy.
River even brushed my hair.
>After lunch they both took naps and so did I. The pictures started coming in from the canoe trip. They really did have a great time. The went into a cave, swung on a rope swing, jumped off cliffs, and stopped for lunch at a perfect beach that had lots of crawdaddies, tadpoles and even minnows for the kids to catch.

The thunder started rumbling around 2:00 pm but no rain until the group was all home safe. Then it poured. Supper tonight was pot roast with the carrots and potatoes, watermelon and for dessert brownies and ice cream. We ate in shifts as it was raining outside and the table in the house only fits 6 at a time. The rain stopped by the time supper was over so a lot of the group when back outside to play games. Philip and Nolan went to Walmart to pick up fishing supplies. They are heading out early in the morning for trout fishing.
A beautiful picture was posted of Gideon, who was out of Soul by Evan. He is so gorgeous.
This evening all the people that wanted to go fishing in the morning worked on making the bait.
