Whelping Box or Playpen?

New bedding was put down in Emma's whelping box so Braelyn and Taegan could play in that today and they thought it was the best toy ever.

Check out the picture below of Emma's belly.
She still has 3 or 4 days left for those puppies to grow. Each day I can see a definite difference in size.
Rhoda and Emily did my job at Berean's today processing and mailing out almost 150 Bibles. They ran out of dollar stamps but still got them all out. When they dropped of the the load at the post office they just went in and bought the needed stamps. I called Ellen to order more dollar stamps then got on the computer to order more Bibles too. When Rhoda and Emily got home from that work they went right out to the barn for more work bringing in Eliza, Jenis and Zalena. All three mares had their tails washed, conditioned and then covered. Eliza was put in the stall while they worked Jenis and Zalena.

Rhoda started out on Jenis while Emily rode Zalena.

They were playing ring around the bale,
Then decided to climb up on the bales.
About that time they decided to change horses, so instead of dismounting and mounting up they just brought the 2 mares together and switched

Emily then had fun on Jenis
 while Rhoda schooled Zalena.
Rhoda finished the schooling session by asking both mares to bow.
Above is Jenis and below is Zalena.
Sissy and Star were checked over, Sissy's udder was more filled than yesterday so she was stalled for the night. I have to leave at 6:00am tomorrow to pick up Israel making me very glad to have Emily working here this winter. We are having snow again tonight, the patio is already covered. Hope the roads are ok for tomorrow.
