It's a GIRL!

Sissy delivered a gorgeous black and white filly at 4:15 am by Valiant today Jan 20th, 2014.
We are so thankful for the foaling camera the kids gave me for Christmas years ago. Emily had the monitor in her bedroom with the sound on, heard the water break and by the time she ran out the door into the stall area the baby was coming. This was an uncomplicated quick birth.
She is very strong and determined to get to her feet quickly.
Check out that splash of white on her tail. We love tails that are start out white and end black, so easy to keep clean compared to starting black and ending white. This filly is going to be so elegant strutting down the dressage runway with her four high white legs, her long arched neck and the Friesian presence.
Below Emily is giving her a good rub down.
We were serenaded by a pack of coyotes as we were waiting for her to nurse.
The filly was nursing by 5:00 am and I was back at the house by 5:15 am having my first cup of coffee. What a great night.
By the way, this filly is for sale for only $3500.00 and can be reserved now with a $500.00 deposit then regular payments until weaning.
She is 2 hours old in the pictures below.

Check out her gorgeous marked tail in the picture below.

This filly has Valiant's bone, her legs are long and thick. She will  hold up well for any discipline.
