Ben and Taunya are thrilled to announce Jace Pierson Sceggel was born today at 9:30am. At 6 days late he weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds 12 ounces. He is healthy, beautiful and nursing well.
Taunya and Ben look way too young to be parents of three.
What an exciting day for the Sceggel family. We decided to all drive to Bloomington to visit this new little guy at 5:00pm. This morning the Berean letters were worked on and all processed for the week then I met Emily at the farm around 11:30am. She had already worked Killian and had just taken Evan swimming when I arrived. She posed for a few pictures with him before putting him to work at his day job.
We had him cover Ayanna this morning and tease Jenis then he got put away while we had lunch. Paris pulled a tendon and is out for maybe 3 weeks. We were planning on using her for Sr. High Girls camp Saturday. At 1:00pm mom was picked up from church after quilting and taken to the metro center for a couple of errands before heading down to David and Stephanie's to see their 2 week old baby boy Israel John Sceggel.
He had just come back from his 2 week doctor visit. He is up to 7 pounds 14 ounces.
After taking mom back to the church to get her car I had a half hour to kill before picking Mark up at the shop at 4:00pm to head to Bloomington. What a roomful of babies when we all arrived to hear Taunya's story.
Above are the 2 cousin boys exactly 2 weeks apart. Jace is on the left, Israel is on the right. The older three were very excited to see each other and the room got quite noisy.
Below Addyson is showing us her present for being good while her mommy had Jace.
Cousins Taegan and Braelyn were pretty excited to be there to play with their cousins.
We got stuck in construction traffic on the way home adding almost an hour to our drive home.
