More About Yesterday
Above is Valiant on the trails and below is Evan.
This was their first time to head out on the trails and both were amazingly well behaved. There were 2 mares in season hanging their heads over the gate showing as Steven was asking each boy to walk by and down the road to the trails. Both boys called but once Steven got after them behaved. We always wondered how they would react when asked to work under saddle when temptation strikes. Steven is a brave guy!
The broken boards yesterday from Evan and Holly weren't the worst of the day. Evan actually covered Ciera. There is a lady coming to see her on the 24th of October and she doesn't want a pregnant mare! There is a very very small chance Ciera will settle, she wasn't very happy about standing for Evan plus with that hematoma on her ovary it should stop any pregnancy but we can't take a chance and will have to pay for an ultrasound in 16-17 days. Of course if she does settle I'm not going to want to sell her. ARRHHH~Why do these things happen? God sure does have a sense of humor. The future is His to do with as He wills.
Dan is coming soon to pick up the golf cart and the tire still needs repair.
