Wonderful Day

Another Amazing Sunday! The brownies were mixed up and baked early this morning.

Today really was pretty special. We had 4 visiting ministers in Peoria but only heard two of them and both happened to be named Fred. One from Florida and one from Kansas. To listen to Jeff Streitmatter who had the morning message click HERE. To listen to Jeff Fischer who had the afternoon message click HERE.  As soon as I got home from church took food over to the barn, cut up the watermelon, cut up the peppers and onions then went back to the house to fry up 3 pounds of bacon. Rhoda and Lee arrived with Iris and Zeke, we went to see the new Gypsies mares and almost ran over a snake.
Thankfully it scurried back to the grass and out of the road.
Mark made the hamburgers, grilled the veggies then the hamburgers. They all turned out great with all the sides it really was build your own burger. Check out Nolan's.
Supper really was delicious.

Amy and Ken came with chocolate chip cookies for dessert to go with the brownies and ice cream. After supper Nolan, Lee, Rhoda, David and Sarah carried the 3 vanities upstairs.
Those things were really heavy.
Zeke had the best time with the box the vanity came in. Israel made it into a little house just for Zeke

Now I just need the toilets and we can get the bathrooms ready for use. We had a rain storm while we were at church and the grounds were pretty wet so instead of volleyball the kids all wanted to ride Missy. Sarah gave each one a short riding lesson. In the video below Israel is riding Missy first then it is Zion's turn.

These two are both ready for trail riding. Below are a few pictures of the busy round pen.
We could hear thunder booming and it was getting closer. The sun was still out but the clouds were expanding quickly.
If interested in seeing the rest of the round pen pictures click HERE. Rhoda and Lee were going to take Nancy home so Berlica gave me a ride over to mom's house to get her. I had to stop to take more pictures of the surprise lilies in the front flower garden.
Nancy was glad to go home with them and I appreciated them taking her. She loves coming to church then to mom's house.
After the horse back rides Mike gave jeep rides on the death trails to all the kids who wanted to but on the way back to the barn the rain arrived. The kids came running back to the barn soaked but all happy. They loved the jeep ride!
It really was a wonderful day.
