Special Evening

Mark wanted to head out early this morning so at 6:30 we took the golf cart over to Spark and Rhonda's house to take the rest of the tree down he started on yesterday.
He went right to work cutting it down.
I went with him to move the logs off the road as he cut them up.
We finished right before it was time for me to go on the walk.  Ruth arrived early for the walk and went in to check on mom. Mom decided not to walk in hopes that she would feel well enough to go to church tonight as tonight was the new minister exhortation. After the walk my first order of business was to move a round bale in for the far paddock where the mares and foals are. Next was to hook the Exiss trailer back up to the truck and back it into place then put the 2 horse trailer right next to it. We are hoping the farmer will come cut the hay early next week and the trailers needed to be out of the way of the tractor and mower. After breakfast I spent an hour and 20 minutes on hold from the post office and when I finally talked to someone they couldn't help and suggested I drive down. That went well, it was not busy at all and they were very friendly. We had a perfect day weather wise.
After supper we got ready for church and decided to leave a few minutes early as mom was going with Diane tonight. Well mom was able to walk out to the car but just couldn't get in the car her back was hurting terribly. Diane and mom both ended up staying home and watching the service on Facebook Live. Tomorrow I take mom for a back x-ray, sure hope we can find out what the problem is and how to fix it. Many people wondered where she was tonight. The service was touching. It really was a special evening.
