De-Worming Weanlings

Mom and Aunt Jinnie joined Ruth, Diane, Joan and I on the walk this morning and we went all the way to the barn and to Diane's then back. We are so glad Aunt Jinnie is here.
My next job was to bring into a stall each weanling one at a time, de-worm them using a half of a Quest Plus then give them a treat of grain before putting them back. Three times today I picked grass, went into their paddock and let them eat out of my hands. They hear the golf cart and all come running up to the gate. All 3 boys are leading pretty well. I haven't started on the loading lessons yet but that will come soon. The arena was worked on for a little but it was just too hot to labor that hard outside. I had 2 bookings come in for the apartment and they are back to back. The first family is coming on Friday and leaving on Sunday and the next family is coming in on Sunday. The first family needed the pack and play for their baby and that was taken over and set up in the bedroom. The floor was given a quick mop since we toured the apartment this morning on the walk. Stephanie was sent a text to see if she could make a couple dozen cookies. She is going to have them made by Friday morning so they will be nice and fresh for the family coming in on Friday.  Because of Covid we had stopped providing home baked goods but decided to give it a try again. People are really getting tired of so many restrictions.  We had taco salad for supper tonight then went to mom's to watch church on facebook live.  We were joined by Hannah and Jacob, Ruth, Joan, Diane, mom and Aunt Jinnie. Tim Roecker had the message.
