Isla Sold

Another busy day. This IS Tuesday's post just a little late.  All the usual morning chores but this morning Mark wanted help putting the road grader on the tractor so he could start grading the outdoor arena. I left for the walk and got both rounds in before needing to quit to leave for the Berean office. If you would like to read about our morning there click HERE. I left at noon to come back here where the pictures from Sunday were downloaded from the camera and worked on. Elisabet found pieces of material and made her own dress.
Taunya took the kids on a long golf cart ride.
Below is Riley Jane, Rebekah and Brian's daughter. When she walked out of the car in her gorgeous sparkly dress we just had to admire her.  She said to us, "You can just call me Princess Parkle (Sparkle)!" And that's exactly what we did.
Bill and Bethany were visiting so we snapped the 4 generations picture below.

The volley ball games went on until past dark and they played under the lights.
They had 3 teams of players and plenty of people for the jeering (cheering) section.
Below Iris is playing with grandma.
Joan was holding Daisy May, her grand daughter.

Addyson was busy braiding her mom's hair.
Iris and Abe were having fun playing together.

We finished up that evening with a beautiful fire which helped the kids make tasty s'mores.
Mark came home early from work to keep working on the outdoor arena. He graded while I made piles of dead weeds.

We quit before dark to head over to mom's to see Aunt Jinny who had arrived from New Jersey this afternoon.
Ruth and Fedi were there bringing back the big screen for Wednesday's night church service. None of us stayed long Aunt Jinny had driven exactly 1100 miles today to get here and was pretty tired. Rhonda sent the pictures below of the horses at the lake from one of the boats. That is Irish and her filly far left and Lola's filly on the right getting a drink.

That is Isla in the picture below. Isla sold today but will be staying with us until April 2021.
Isla will be going to live in Oregon. That will be quite a different climate for her.
Below is Jenis. She is always easy to identify. Jenis is sold and paid for but her owner wanted her to stay for a while and have a nice vacation at Middle Grove. It looks like she is enjoying her vacation at the lake.

Thank's Rhonda for sending along the pictures. I always appreciate getting pictures of some of the herd at Middle Grove.
