Psalm 100

I have been lamenting about the loss of my voice but today Craig Stickling had the morning service opening to Psalm 100, Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.  Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing.
Ah how I needed to hear that. I've missed music, no longer playing the piano as I can't sing along. I finally started playing again and just praising Him in my thoughts and heart.  Greg Rumbold had the afternoon service opening to Joshua 9 and the deceit of the Gibeonites. Our Peoria church is such a blessing to so many. At lunch today I was marveling at the happy voices ringing throughout the dining room then the quietness of the sanctuary.
We were surprised to see that it was raining when church was over, didn't realize rain was predicted. Gertie and Dennis, Anna's parents came over for a visit after church. Once they headed back to Iowa Emily and I got busy. We needed to get 3 mares covered by 3 stallions. Piper was covered first by Valiant,
then Kensie was covered by Evan
and last Oksana was covered by Killian.

Serenity was also teased and is still in. Hopefully she will still be in tomorrow morning. She needs to be covered by Evan as she is Valiant's half sister. We were thankful it wasn't pouring down rain, just sprinkling so neither of us got too soaked.
Kensie was not happy last night in the stall, she is a social mare and was upset she couldn't see any other horses. I moved her today into the breeding shed paddock, she was much happier this afternoon. We are at capacity right now and have a customer bringing her mare here on Wednesday to be teased. This is another mare for Evan. If she is in season she will be staying and will have to be stalled as there are no more paddocks. After a light supper I took the golf cart over to the cabin field to check Sheena then Sangria. Both mares are due but neither has much of an udder, they were left out even though it was still raining. Below is Sheena, the picture was taken on Saturday.
This will be her first foal. Sangria's picture was taken 6 days ago, she is even bigger now and tomorrow is her due date.
Cynthia sent the picture below of her filly Olivia, she writes: Hi Judy, I thought you would enjoy this picture of Olivia's tail...it is so thick!   Sometimes I don't know if if like riding better vs doing a beauty shop treatment on my horse with conditioner, and combing and braiding!
Olivia is such a beautiful Friesian filly. Amy Koch's English Shepherd dog Poppy had 13 puppies this morning. These puppies will be for sale. English Shepherd dogs are herding dogs and need a job to do so if you have sheep, or a bunch of kids that need herded you may want to consider one. Amy will post pictures on Facebook so contact her directly.
