I wanted to get the horse work done before the walk so went out around 6:00 am to start. Evan was moved out of his paddock and into the round pen. I decided to move Valiant over into the pasture and just maybe he will put on weight if grazing. Rosaleigh's eye was treated first then Tessa taken out and teased. As she is still in Valiant was used to cover her. After she was covered. Valiant was put in the pasture. He went right into Evan's paddock just to make sure he wasn't around before going out to graze. Then Tessa slipped into the pasture while he was grazing. He was at the far end and started walking toward her.

Thankful for More Rain
He sniffed her then went back to grazing so I thought all might be well.
That didn't last, he decided to bully her and started chasing her. I had to distract him with grain so I could get her out safely. That was done by 7:30 and by the time I got to mom's house Diane and Joan were just coming out of the house and Ruth had just pulled up. After the walk Evan was moved out of the round pen into Valiant's paddock.
He went running over to tease the 3 thoroughbred mares but none of them are showing. They were curious about him and each one sniffed him through the fence. Evan must have gotten shocked by the electric fence, he quickly ran to the other side of the paddock.
We knew rain was coming so the motorhome was moved into the indoor arena.
About then Mark wanted help. He had been using the tiller on the sand volleyball court.
He wanted me to hold the rope away from the edges so that could be tilled up also.
I thought that might have gotten rid of the bees but they were back by the time the sun was hitting the court. We are not sure how to get rid of them. They sting! I left for Aldi and Kroger when we finished there. Mark is working on our garage. He wanted to make the garage doors wider so he can get a Tesla in some day. He wants one of those self driving cars believing it will be safer for him to drive now that he is 75 years old. He needed a hair cut before church. We got some rain late this afternoon. We did not have supper at home tonight as we planned on joining the group at Culvers after church. David had the message tonight. He sure has the gift of teaching. This one was on Psalm 49 and Luke 7. Click HERE to watch that. There was a big group at Culvers tonight.
When we got home we checked the rain gauge as we must have had more rain this evening. We got 3/10ths of an inch for the entire day. Not as much as we hoped for but are thankful for the rain. Below is a short video of the first storm that came through.
