I took Mark's car over to the barn around 6:00 am to load all the food from the freezer and fridge into the big white cooler. The blue cooler was used for eggs, lettuce and some of the frozen meats. We pulled out at 8:00 am for the 7 hour trip to Branson, Mo. Our check in time was 4:00 pm but Mark wanted to leave early r We went through quite a rain storm. The rain was coming down so hard the cars on the interstate were going 35 mph and all of us were using flashers. The visibility was down to just a few feet. Thankfully by the time we needed to go through St. Louis most of the rain had finished. We stopped at a Stuckey's for gas and a late lunch picking up some spicy Indian food.

Sarah had already arrived when we pulled in at 3:55 pm. We waited until check in time then started carrying things up to the house from the car. The cleaner was still here but let us in at 4:00 pm. Rhoda and Lee were next to arrive and even before we got the car emptied David and Stephanie pulled in. Below is a video of the house.
One year for the Sceggel vacation we were sharing 3 bathrooms and almost everyone got either food poisoning or the flu. We decided never again. Thankfully this house has 7 bedrooms AND 7 bathrooms! It has a shared outdoor pool with a really fun water slide. All of the kids were quick to get their suits on to try that out and spent hours swimming. Zeke and River came back early and were thrilled to play in their own pool (the hot tub on the lower deck).

We ordered pizza from Dominos for our dinner tonight. I had purchased $100 worth of gift cards for $75.00 last week. Lee found an online special and we ended up with 7 pizzas for about $67.00 giving us an entire $25.00 gift card left plus some money on another gift card. We also had 1.5 pizzas left over which were put in the fridge for tomorrow. We spent the evening visiting while the kids played for 2 more hours in the hot tub. Now everyone is getting ready for bed. Taunya is coming down tonight and should be here by 1:00 am. Phil and Anna's family are leaving around 2:00 am and should make it here before 9:00 am. They couldn't leave today as Anna was in a competition and ended up winning a 3rd place medal.
The kitchen in this house is lacking cooking utensils. I brought down my big frying pan but there are no spatulas to cook with, nor an egg whisk. I called and asked Anna to stop at my house and pick those up and bring them, otherwise it will be hard to cook breakfast.
