The Plague Hits

Around 2:00 am Mark got violently sick and this continued most of the night. Neither of us got much sleep. It was hard to get going this morning.  As soon as the walk was over I drove to Dollar General to pick up sprite soda and blue zero gator aid which my children recommended. It sounds like this may be the norovirus and has been making rounds throughout the schools. Thankfully it doesn't last long. Mark spent a lot of the day sleeping but no more vomiting. I had to be at Diane's office this morning to balance 2 months of the Horsemeister check book and to get the filing paper work done for Horsemeister. The good news is we WILL get at least a partial refund from over paying last year but Russ told Diane, no guarantees when that will happen. It could be in 6 weeks, 6 months or never when dealing with Illinois. We are planning on leaving early in the morning for a town near Fort Wayne, Indiana to pick up some rubber flooring with the horse trailer. The truck was taken over to Mike and Diane's house to make sure all the truck tires were filled correctly then the horse trailer hooked up.  Mark came walking up to help with that and is feeling somewhat better but didn't want to take the chance on eating anything.  I listened online to a few sermons and really enjoyed listening to Ron Kipfer and Doyle Frauhiger. They gave a talk on Feb 1st, 2019 on "Forged in the Fire-Held in the Hand of Almighty God". IF you would like to listen to this just click on the video below:

This evening the car needed to be dropped off at Zane's as they agreed to work on it tomorrow. Once home we got on AC Central to watch on line and were watching Mike Kaisner have the message when AC Central crashed. The last time I missed a Wednesday night service and tried to watch on line the same thing happened. I was able to get on Peoria's website and watch from there but it made me realize more than likely there is such high volume of people trying to get on AC Central on Wednesday evenings that the website can't handle the numbers and is crashing. Thankful that our nameless IT guy from Peoria gave us another way.  I really am thankful for this website
Aunt Jinnie had good news to report on the Zeug reunion. Uncle Johnny and Aunt MaryLu are planning on attending as is Aunt Sandra and her daughter Sarah.  That means all 4 Zeug siblings will be together for the first time in decades.  Below are a couple videos of the last Zeug reunion taken Sunday afternoon and then Sunday evening July 5th, 2009
That year we spent the morning and afternoon at Norris what Aunt Jinnie and Uncle Peter called the lake in the sky then came back to here for the evening picnic.
