Muscatine

Diane called this morning to report she caught the plague and would not be able to stay with mom today.  I was glad to take her place as I knew Amy was coming today. Only Ruth and I walked then after the walk I drove the car over to the barn to pick up one of the rubber squares from yesterday and took it to mom's house to show Aunt Jinnie and mom what they looked like.

Our morning was uneventful except I got a strange message from a man from Muscatine, IA.  Amy arrived right after lunch with a few of her projects she was working on.

Next she showed the work in progress then brought out the baby blanket she wanted help on. Below Aunt Jinnie and mom were giving her suggestions.
Molly was very interested in the work too.
When Karin came home loaded with $200.00 worth of groceries from Aldi, Amy and I helped her unload then I left to unload the rubber tiles we had in the truck.
The last square was unloaded by 2:15 pm. When Mark got home we took the truck and drove to Muscatine, IA to visit a man who had open heart bypass surgery.  He wanted help moving his trailer off of his property to make room for a 5th wheel. We had a nice visit and got everything needed accomplished. On the way home stopped at a Mexican restaurant for a wonderful Friday date night meal. We just ordered one meal and split that. With tip and all the meal came to a little over $18.00.
There was plenty to eat for both of us.  The drive home was uneventful and we pulled in right at 9:00 pm. Tomorrow morning the truck will be hooked back up to the horse trailer so that can be emptied of the rubber squares. I'm with mom again tomorrow so will head to bed now.
