Early Morning Trip to Springfield

I had to quit the walk early in order to have the trailer in Springfield for the 10:00 am appointment to have it inspected. It passed! In 2 to 4 weeks the new title will come and then I'll finally be able to get it licensed. As soon as I got back to the farm the trailer was unhooked, the dealer license removed and off I went to Bartonville to return the dealer license then to the shop to finish the work I didn't get done yesterday. Mom had a check come in from Gulf Shores so once the Bibles were all processed and loaded into the car I headed to the bank to deposit that check then to the post office to drop off the Bibles. When I arrived home there was a group tacking up horses to go trail riding.
Willow was riding Misty around when Diane showed up with a golf cart full of little kids that all wanted a ride. Willow jumped off and started giving them all pony rides on this wonderful pony.

Rebekah was going to ride Sunny on the trails and she was more than willing to take Ella behind her.
Tate wanted to try Misty out before the riders left.
Hannah took Faith double on Jenis, Willow rode Misty, Rebekah and Ella rode Sunny while Karin and Ava rode Ribbon on the trails.
We had over an inch of much needed rain last night so the trails were a bit slick. At one point Ribbon started slipping and bumped Willow and Misty right off the trail. Misty was able to scramble back up the hill. They had a great time. The weather was cool, perfect for a ride.
Emily and I had to work after church tonight. We didn't get the mares covered during the day, just too busy but we made it home from church with enough daylight to get Whisper covered. We didn't try Ribbon, she will be teased tomorrow.
