We had a wonderful crew today volunteering to read letters, stuff envelopes, label envelopes, stuff Bibles with studies then package them up and get them stamped. We have now taken over 3 of Meister's rooms, we are using the double office in the right hand corner of the building plus the reception area and still running out of room.
Below is the crew working in the double office.
Diane was able to keep them all working on projects while I entered the the studies and requests.
We still had to go back after lunch to finish up but the end result was over 160 Bibles sent out to prisoners all over the United States and hundreds of studies processed and now ready to grade. Anyone wanting to grade the studies they will be left at church near the water fountain on the ladies side. We would like you to use red pens or pencils and there is a supply of them above the studies. Please, please make comments on the studies. We got some back today with very unhappy prisoners returning them with the note, "why have my studies been returned ungraded." Even if there are no corrections write something on the study like "well done" or "good job". There are hundreds still to grade, we would be so grateful for any one willing to grade. Once the studies are graded they should be placed in the envelope, sealed and put in the basket ready for mailing. We pick them up every Sunday and Wednesday to mail out.
Emily took the truck and trailer to Middle Grove. She is mowing out there this evening and hopefully will bring back Hadassah. Hadassah is scheduled for an ultrasound Thursday.
Mom and Molly stopped in for a visit and to see the new piano. Both came with me to feed the horses the evening feeding. When we were at the cabin field Diane joined us. She found a lamp shade for one of mom's lamps for a dollar garage saling so she and Ebby jumped on the golf cart with mom, Molly and I and off we drove to mom's to try out the lamp shade. It fit perfectly. It was such a nice evening for a ride we drove the cart down to the mail boxes and picked up mail then took a trip over to Rhonda's to deliver some of her mail that ended up in mom's box.
Mark and I spent the rest of the evening spreading manure. He ran the tractor and the manure spreader while I ran the skid steer scooping and loading it into the spreader. We sure stunk up the neighborhood! I was glad when it started getting dark, I am so ready for bed tonight.
