Light up the SKY

Mike, Diane, Ruth, Anni, Stephen, mom, Mark and I met at the playground for our weekly commute to church. As we had too many people to fit in one van, Anni and Stephen drove separate just in case they wanted to go out with the young group after church.
Ken Hoerr had the service, opening to Isiah, then James. Thankful the Spirit still speaks in Peoria. The singing was awesome! How I missed being there these last 2 weeks. On the way home we just had to stop at McDonalds for the dollar hot fudge sundae and during the eating of that my phone went off, Rhonda left a message "Spark left the lights on!"
Mike our fearless driver (the rest of us were not so fearless) drove around the back of the barn to check out the amazing view. I thought it was interesting how the camera lens just automatically makes the light into a glowing cross. The bridge between heaven and earth.

There is so much light we could build another arena on the South side of this one and have it also lit up. Mark just shuddered!

The pictures were taken without a flash. In the picture above it is easily light enough to capture Mark's image even from all the way across the (80 feet wide) arena. Below the camera is looking East toward the barns. All 200 feet are well lit, we could build bleachers on the south side and they would be well lit. We have outlets in each pole and could use the cotton candy machine, popcorn machine and snow cone machine right there for concessions. I'm ALMOST ready for company! I just need Karin to come up with a horse show. PLEASE KARIN?

The outdoor lighted arena was one of my dreams for this farm. How thankful I am, with the sale of puppies and ponies this dream came true!
