Rachel's family, Karin, Hannah, Anni, Ryan and Sarah left for the boundary waters early this morning driving the Davidovic's van. They will be roughing it, canoeing and tenting up near Canada and it's cold cold lakes. Today after the walk Paris was loaded up and taken to Ruth's house to live while Cheyenne was brought over here. She will be bred to Valiant then placed for sale. Cheyenne is a 14 year old registered paint mare that has always thrown a paint foal. She is trained to ride but will take advantage of a beginner by not going and throwing a hissy fit when asked to go away from the barn. She is a very good mother, in some ways too good, she is very protective of the baby. She was put in the paddock next to Evan's. Ayanna and Marika were both still showing and both covered but may be going out, they didn't stand very well today. Today is Mark's birthday and David drove all the way here from Chilicothe to prepare his dad a special birthday lunch. Rhoda and Emily brought over some great big birthday cards.
Stephanie didn't get to come Israel is sick with a very catchy virus. Rachel Sauder posted the Giant Goose Ranch pictures and if you haven't seen them you need to. They are amazing, of course I may be a bit prejudiced as some of them are of my family.
