Emily offered to mow with the Kabuta as that can be driven with one hand,
and Hannah raked the arena.
Who cares if the house is a mess. I started moving bales right after the walk and finally finished by 10:00 am.Karin had already had the kids hosing down Ribbon to prepare for the vaulting practice, then had them hose down the indoor arena. Ayanna and Marika were brought in to tease, both mares are now in season. Marika was covered by Valiant while Ayanna was covered by Evan. The mares and fillies were stalled then out to the arena to catch a few pictures of the vaulting practice.
I actually took lots of pictures of the vaulting the rest are on the Horsemeister Inc Facebook page. After the practice the kids came in to see the fillies. Below they are petting Violet.
The group headed over to Mike and Diane's pond for swimming and lunch.
Emily showed us her war wounds from the accident on Friday.
Even with a broken wrist and bruised up leg Emily has a drive to ride. When we got ready for the trail ride she offered to ride Indy with Noah on the back. She said, "I can ride one handed!" I'm not sure a doctor would approve of this kind of therapy.
The trail ride went great, that is no one got hurt.
Emily and Noah switched places, Noah did a great job of telling Indy where to go.
The only way for Ribbon to be in the lead is to get a head start. Her lead lasted about 5 seconds.
These 3 were neck and neck for a bit
Jenis came in first
Emily gave Noah a lesson on Indy and we were all impressed. He had her walking and trotting. He is such a little guy on such a big mare.
Shaeya did wonderful with Paris. We are so thrilled to have this mare back.
Today was a lot of fun. Sarah Reinhard drove to church with Tim and Joan's van taking mom, Tim, Ruth and I. Tim Roecker had the service.
