Lots of SNOW

IT isn't near as cold this morning, the thermometer is reading right at 16 degrees, a real HEAT spell, but the snow has been coming down since last night and it looks like we have 6 more inches on top of the 9 inches that couldn't melt in our below zero temperatures. It is a very gray day and the snow is still coming down but so fine we couldn't tell if it was snowing or not until the day started to lighten. If the sun comes out I'm going to be disappointed Mark took the camera down to the shop. OH well it is his camera. It looked so funny to see the dogs running around in it. The snow is very light and comes up over Darcy's knees, of course Emma is up to her belly.
I'm waiting on the phone calls from the farm to see how Clara and her new colt fared. Hopefully she kept him in the shelter.
Last night David and Stephanie were in church, it was the first we have seen them since they came back from Mexico. Stephanie told us the boys were so glad to see David, they all came running to him, hugging him and since David isn't their parent he felt free to play and rough house with them. David is not feeling well and he won't have to go in to teach this morning, his school has shut down due to the weather.

Mike was working on getting the skid steer running to start plowing but Spark had the yanmar brought back and the driver parked it right in front of the bucket, someone else borrowed the 5 gallon can gas for the tractor so Mike will have to run to town first to get gas. I think he is going to be late for work today.
NOON: I have just finished shoveling my driveway. Started shoveling right around 8:00am and am so compulsive just couldn't stop until it was finished. I NEED AN ADVIL! Even though the snow is light and fluffy, it still has a lot of weight at 8-10 inches. Good news is the snow has stopped and the sun is trying to peek through.
Clara's colt is doing GREAT, Both he and Clara are enjoying the freedom of not being in a stall.
