Just ONE Left

I'm just making the announcement that now there is only ONE Cavapoo left still looking for a fur-ever home. She is an adorable quality home raised puppy from Gardner Lane Puppies and will be ready for her new home Nov 2nd.

If you have ever wanted a Cavapoo (they look like little stuffed animals) now is your chance. They really are as sweet and loving as they are cute and adorable.
Just Diane and I walked today. Ruth had to take Fedi in for his neck surgery. He had some problems with a disc and they were able to free up some of the nerves that were affected.  Ruth sent back a good report that he was doing well and going home around 2:30 pm today.
We ALSO got to watch mom pull in a fish down in Gulf Shores. Beth held the pole but mom reeled it in.
She really is getting stronger, last year at this time Mom was not able to reel in the fish. We are thankful. Aunt Jinnie has been having some problems with her hip. It was probably from that long trip down to Gulf Shores. Hope it heals quickly. Mike took his Afghan guest to the DMV today and he passed the written test but had to take it 3 times. The translations were bad, the 3rd time he took it in English and passed.  After the walk I went to the barn to empty the dish washer, bring back the food left there then put the second Steralite cabinet together. This time I had all the parts. Those two cabinets now hold all the bedding for the 6 twin memory foam mattresses up in the game room.  The foaling apartment was given a quick once over then the guest sent a message it was ready early if they were in the area. They were not and their expected time of arrival was 7:00 pm. Tomorrow the vet is coming to draw blood from the 6 weanlings so the stalls were cleaned and made ready. We plan on moving them all inside at noon as soon as I get home from Berean. The horses were all lined up watching me clean the stalls.
I found a partial leadrope that was rusted shut, took that down to the house and was able to us the hammer to get it working.
That will be attached to one of their halters to help with identifying the foals for Mike. Mark and I are planning to head down to Gulf Shores on Thursday and we have 2 of the weanlings supposed to leave a week from today. Rhonda sent the next two pictures, the first was taken from the pontoon boat at Middle Grove and the second taken from the edge of the outdoor arena and shows the stall barn and indoor arena.
I'm thankful as I haven't had time to go to Middle Grove.
Phil, Anna and the girls arrived this evening. Anna put the closet organizer in the master bedroom. Kensley and Taegan were upstairs playing pingpong with their dad when I arrived.

From there I went to mom's house where Faith, Rachel, Diane and Karin were playing Carbols.
Karin informed us she was flying to Florida tomorrow, John has not been doing well with his knee replacement. He had to go back into surgery for infection and now is in a lot of pain and not bouncing back like he should be. Karin as a PTA can hopefully get him going in the right direction.
