Chef Moussa

It was only 41 degrees outside when we woke up. A real taste of fall is now in the air. I was with mom this morning but ran up to the barn before  heading over and was surprised to see no one parked by the Jayco 5th wheel. They could have come in late last night and left early this morning for the Spoon River drive so I didn't think too much about them not being there. Mom and I had a good morning. Spark and Rhonda came over at noon to visit during our lunch then after lunch we went out on the deck to enjoy the sunshine.  It was cold but as long as the sun was out comfortable on the deck. Mark worked on the fallen branch most of the morning. Phil and Anna were at the barn finishing last minute items before their guests arrived for the cookout. We left early for the testimonies and decided to eat dinner at Chef Moussa's Lebanese restaurant at 201 E Lake Street. That turned out to be a wonderful choice. We met the owner and were impressed with him and his restaurant.  As it was our first time there we ordered one Gyro meal and one Greek salad meal and planned on dividing them up so we could each taste both.

The bread was piping hot and so delicious. It was a real feast.
We thought we would be taking home some but ended up eating almost everything between the two of us. The bill came to $30.00 and was actually a bargain for such delicious fresh food. It also came pretty quickly so we were finished by 6:30 pm. We will be back. As the restaurant is close to church we were pretty early. Tonight there were two testimonies. The first one was Jordan Calame, Elisabeth's and Jeremy's son. and the second was Abram Funk, Ryan and Alyssa's son. Today was a quiet day and we both enjoyed it.
