Perfect Day

We had perfect weather for this perfect Sunday. Mark and I were pretty tired come morning after our long drive yesterday but since no one was expecting us home there wasn't any work to do before church except try to scrounge around something for breakfast. Tim Funk had a powerful message for the morning service, the key word on this message was bitterness how we just cannot let bitterness dwell in our lives. Mike Reiker had the afternoon service reading about Moses's death then skipping back to the chapter of why Moses wasn't allowed to lead his people into the promise land. After church Jewel was teased. She is now out. We only got one cover on her, Karin got her covered on Friday while we were gone so hope that did the trick.  Karin helped move 2 new bales in the middle paddock. Hopefully the farmer comes to cut the hay Monday as we only have 4 bales left. This afternoon and evening was spent at the playground. The wind had picked up so Joan got the sailboat out and gave rides.

The volleyball players arrived a little early and the games began.
The kids piled on the golf cart for rides around the farm.

David Sauder caught this huge snapping turtle.
We stayed up way to late cooking bacon and somemores over the campfire after the volleyball games finished.

Kensley caught this moth in mid air.
