Sangria Open

Well I'm for sure not taking Sangria in to the vet clinic on Monday, she was showing big time to Evan this afternoon. She did not get pregnant last fall when she broke out and spent the night in with Valiant.  I was going to retire her but decided to try for one more foal out of her by Valiant. Her foals are always amazing.
Galena was teased today and she still wants nothing to do with either stallion. The other mare teased today was Rosaleigh. She too is not showing and hasn't shown since the birth of her filly April 24th.  Today I tried something different and left her filly in the paddock and just brought Rosaleigh over to Evan.  She would never get close enough while she was worried about her filly. She did not show but at least let him get close.
Karin came today and saddled up Missy, Cookie and Sally for a couple guests. She took them on the 'death trails' to check them out for Indian camp which starts on Monday. When she got back she reported the trails are awful. Very muddy, slippery and the creek beds have been washed out. We may need to come up with another trail for this camp. We had rain again this afternoon. This is just crazy it is like we are living in a rain forest.
