2019 Bach Fest

This morning was catch up time on getting pictures of the foals for the website.  Our guest Julie was more than willing to help with this. Each mare was teased before taking her and her foal to the round pen for the pictures. The only mare in season today is Galena and she was covered yesterday so neither stallion worked. We got four of the foals pictures taken. Below is Sheena's colt by Valiant his owner is calling Jet.
Below is Zalena's filly by Evan her owner named Legend.

Below is Lily's filly by Valiant her owner is calling Mitzamaya.

The filly I did not get pictures of is Galena's filly by Valiant. Perhaps tomorrow that can be done. Each owner was sent the pictures.  Julie and I then took her Goldendoodle to the playground for some exercise. She had a lot of fun chasing the volley balls.

When we got back Karin was getting ready to load up mares for the trail ride at Sandridge. She sent back the two pictures below.

The horses and riders all had a good time.  Jemma, Julie's dog was put in the apartment while we worked with the horses. Below she is watching us out the window.
This evening Mark took me to a Vietnamese restaurant on Main Street in Peoria for dinner.  We each ordered a meal but should have probably split a meal. They were huge. After we finished we went to  Bach Fest at the Trinity Lutheran church.
The music was beautiful but it didn't start until 8:00 pm finishing around 10:00 pm and we still had to drive home. This made for a very long day and I'm heading to bed right now!
