Mowing Machines

We only did one round of walk today. Ruth had arthroscopic surgery on her knee yesterday so she didn't come. Joan and Heather went garage saleing. Mom, Diane and I were the only walkers. I had to leave early though as the Berean mail needed to be picked up in Peoria.  If you would like to read about our morning there click HERE. Instead of heading home when we finished up there I drove to Sarah and Nolan house to drop off Israel's baseball shirt and see their dogs. Zion met me at the door and helped carry in some of the lunch leftovers for me.
Eden was sitting in her chair but wanted to be taken out so no smile today.
Sarah put her in the swing and she promptly fell asleep. Turned out it was nap time for Eden.

All three of their dogs are looking quite pregnant. They are due next week and we can't wait to meet the Woodle Puppies. Maddie, their Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is pictured below. This breed is a non sheding breed.

Zion was thrilled to show me her dogs.
Maddie was bred to Anni's dog Chewy, the Moyen Poodle. These puppies should be 15-20 pounds. If interested in a non shedding Woodle puppy stay tuned. Once they are here I will post them. Rizzy and Arietta are both expecting Cavapoo puppies. When I got back from Sarah's Joan had mowers going, 5 different mowers. Ellie was on one of the Huskavarna's
Faith was on the other Huskavarna, Eric was on the small Kubota.
Mackenson was on the push mower.

Joan took over one of the Huskavarna's to do the hillside.
Then she went on her brand new zero turn mower she just bought today at a garage sale in Morton.
I moved a new bale in the last shelter and a new one in for Evan this afternoon. We only have 2 bales left. Hopefully we can get some sunshine and dry weather.  Our fields are more than ready to cut.  Star and her filly were taken out for a few pictures. The filly is now 3 days old and this filly is quite an amazing mover. Check out the pictures below. She really picks those legs up.

To see the rest of the pictures of her click HERE. Roxanne's day old colt was taken out for just a couple pictures. The sun was shining too bright and it was just too warm for this very black new colt to be outside. Check out that tail. He really has a long tail for a newborn.

They were put back and I headed in for supper. Sarah left us a shepherd pie casserole and it was very good.  After supper  Kabur was taken over on the golf cart to his house and Faith showed me the snapper turtle shell of the big snapper they butchered the other day.

This turtle had 57 eggs all ready to lay.
Our airbnb guests arrived around 8:00 pm, unloaded then headed out to find a grocery store. They are here for 5 nights and there are 7 hungry guys. They are here for a disk tournament in Eureka. Star and her filly were turned out for the night in the far paddock. Roxanne's colt is just too young to be outside yet so they are spending another night and day in the stall.
