Goose Ranch Takes 3

Mom had an eye doctor appointment this morning so Karin, Faith, Ellie and Berlica did my job which was to move 5 horses to Middle Grove.  The swelling in mom's eye came back and mom had to have an injection into that eye.  The nurse put a pretty pink sticker on the eye just in case the doctor had any question of which eye. Hopefully this will help reduce the swelling.
We stopped at Sam's Club when mom was finished to buy the food for the Berean meal tomorrow. When we got back Joan and her children were working in the driveway.
Two of Heather's children were also hard at work with the drive and weed whacking.
Karin was busy working with some guests on Missy and Cookie.

As soon as they finished we loaded Missy and Cookie up and drove to the Giant Goose Ranch. When we arrived Natalie was just putting Jenis away after a fun ride.
Natalie's mom took the short video below of Natalie riding Jenis.
Missy and Cookie were tied up until we could put their tack in the tack room.
They were then put in with Jenis, Allie, Brista and Genesis. They all took of running.
Genesis came flying back, check out how high off the ground she is in the picture below, she really was flying.

Jenis didn't go galloping, she just looked at those silly horses wasting all that energy. On a side note, Jenis is Genesis grandmother as Genesis' dad is Valiant.
The Goose Ranch has a plethora of geese right now, they are all over the place.
It was feeding time for the baby goats so Karin is helping bottle feed 3 at a time.
Next we went to see Coke's new colt by Valiant named Jesse. Jenis is also HIS grandmother.
They had just introduced him to a big ball.
I took a short video of his reaction.
We left shortly after that as it was getting late. The kids were still working on the drive. They were doing a fantastic job.
They finally quit so Faith and Ellie could ride Hadassah and Tori.

We were really thrilled with how well Hadassah did with Ellie. Mom grilled tuna steaks for dinner tonight and shared them. Mark said they were good! I had to go to Dollar General this evening to pick up D batteries for the airbed pump. The guests coming in tomorrow at the apartment are bringing 7 people, all guys and none of them want to share a bed. So even though right now with the queen size airbed, the queen size futon, the queen bed in the bedroom and room for 2 on the couch, they are bringing 2 single airbeds so all of them will have their own sleeping space. Thankfully there is enough floor space in the apartment for 3 airbeds.  I still need to put more blankets in but that will be done tomorrow morning before the walk. Tonight I scrubbed the bathroom and floors. The two mares with the the new foals are still stalled so their stalls were cleaned, water buckets filled and they were fed hay and grain.  Roxanne's colt is doing great. His cord was iodined 3 times today. Star's filly is also doing well. Her cord is now dry. Hopefully they can go out for a short time tomorrow.
