Sunday Celebration

We had another wonderful Sunday, in fact at the end of the day one of the grandchildren exclaimed, "mommy this a happy day!"
Just as we drove in the church parking lot I remembered the Bible studies were in my car and we drove Mark's car to church. He was good enough to drive all the way back to Hanna City to get them. There would have been so many of the graders disappointed if there were no studies this week.
Tim Roecker had the morning service then Dwane Dill, a visitor from Mediapolis had the afternoon service. It really was so good to be there.
We had such a nice surprise around 3:00 pm, It RAINED. We had a nice shower that dropped 2 tenths of an inch. Phil and Anna brought their 3 girls, David brought Israel and Sarah and Nolan brought Zion and we enjoyed T bone and ribeye steaks for dinner served with sauteed buttered mushrooms and onions, baked sweet potato, rolls and lots of different fruit. For dessert we had hot apple pie ala mode.
We made our way over to the playground and were joined by car load after car load of volley ball players. Below are a few pictures of the evening.

They had 4 full teams and ended up playing for hours. At dark the fireworks started. David brought sparklers for the kids, below are a couple pictures of them having fun with them.

We sat on the hillside above the lake and watched the fire works being shot off the dock.
