This is a wet heavy snow that will soon freeze with our predicted below zero cold moving in but for now it wasn't too unpleasant. The dogs didn't seem to mind wading through it.
Above is Darcy and below Studly
Ruth called around 1:00 to inform us that Brian and Rebekah were coming over for dinner and did we want to stop in to see the baby. It doesn't take much of an invitation to get a crowd when dinner is included.
Above are the 2 great grandma's admiring month old Jordan and below is the food line for dinner.
Since Anni's birthday was coming up mom brought over candles so we could all sing to her. Below Braelyn discovered Ruth's cat laying on the sofa and came running to tell me, "oh no the cat is sad!"
Above is just one of the carbols games played this evening and below Ryan is showing Braelyn the snake.
Taegan was playing with the other cat, she would give the cat the pingpong ball, the cat would bat it away and Taegan would run fetch it for the cat. Cat's are so smart getting the kid to do the fetching. Below Fede is holding his grandson while Ruth picked up Taegan to show her little Jordan.
A good time was had by all. Just as we were loading the car Phil and Anna showed up to pick up the girls saving us from putting them in our car and driving back to the farm. This worked out well, Karin took mom back so I drove straight to the barn to care for the 2 stalled mares and their foals.
