A Rare Visit

Emily and I had a very busy day today. I had to drive in to Meisters to pay the first of the months bills and when I arrived home Emily was busy staining the outdoor arena.
She moved from there to mowing
and from mowing to cleaning paddocks with the skid steer.
While she was working on the paddocks I brought Jenis over to Evan and got her covered.
Rachel brought some visitors over to wear off some energy on these high energy boys.
They had fun jumping from the double stacked bales to the barn rafters.
Before quitting for lunch we moved a new bale in the newly cleaned paddock to ready it for the mare coming in for breeding tonight.
After lunch we decided to give Lola's colt by Valiant a bath for his vet visit tomorrow. We are hauling Mytross, her colt, Lola, her colt and Jenis in to Dr. Hoerr's to ultrasound the mares before Dr. Hoerr leaves for the Shore to Shore endurance ride.
Eliza's colt was more than happy to get into the water while Lola's colt looked on not sure he wanted to go swimming.

We ended up bathing Lola's colt with a hose. He looked so pretty all clean we took him into the outdoor arena for a few pictures.

Eliza needed a short leading lesson from Emily
She is such a gorgeous mare!
Will and Jenni Moser brought their Raven daughter Isabella's Song over after dinner. She was in and covered by Evan. Pictures will be taken of her tomorrow. We had something more exciting to take tonight. They brought their rare Fell pony Lemon Drop with them. She was taken to the outdoor arena for pictures.

The rest of the pictures were posted on facebook. Isn't she GORGEOUS! She was as sweet as she was beautiful. Lemon Drop is 10 years old and in foal to a very famous Fell Pony from England. Congratulations Will and Jenni!
