This is the coldest day this season, the thermometer is suppose to be hovering at 5 degree with wind chills below zero. But... there are only 11 days left of January, February is a short month and we almost always get some nice days in March. The dreaded dark frozen days have been few and far between this winter. We still have horses out at Middle Grove, unheard of in years past. Mike drove out to Middle Grove yesterday to move in another bale and to make sure the creek is still open.
Today the cable will be installed between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. A trip in to Peoria must be made today, we are having a lot of company for dinner tonight and supplies in the fridge and cupboards are running short. When we lived in Peoria we never worried about running out of groceries, Madison Park shopping center was just blocks away. Living here takes just a little bit of planning, it's either that or borrow from the neighbors.
Pleased to announce the coffee was wonderful this morning, hot strong and delicious with none on the floor.
