IT was so cold this morning that Ruth thought we should call off the walk. That was fine with both Joan and me. No sense in freezing when none of us really need the exercise. Joan has tech week so Ruth has moved in with mom this week. Dan reminded us before we bought a new switch for mom's lift chair we needed to take the one off Nancy's chair to see if that would work on mom's. It did not so now we know we need to buy a whole new chair, not just the switch. I looked for one on Facebook market place and found one that had only been used for a few days but when I checked out the dimensions it was as big as Nancy's chair and mom really wants one just like hers. I may have found one in Lacon, IL and made arrangements to check that out but only after the wheel chair gets fixed. Mark drove that to Zane's today while I followed. Zane's will check it out tomorrow morning. Hopefully that will be an easy fix. That means mom cannot go with me tomorrow to Berean as we won't have the wheel chair van. I spent just about the entire day doing laundry. All of the bedding and towels from the barn were brought to the house so I could work on other things while the laundry was running. Once those were done they were taken to the barn and all of the beds made and bathrooms restocked and all of the garbage cans emptied. No cleaning was done there as we had 5 loads of laundry that still needed to be done here. The weanlings were checked on this morning but they were somewhere in the pond pasture. Missy is by herself. The weanlings will not stay with her so I may have to lock them in the middle paddock with her or move a new round bale in for them in the far paddock. We would prefer that they share the middle paddock so we can turn off the waterer in theirs. Zion fed them all this morning and they came up for her but then went back into the pasture. River and Eden came down after they got home from school with a craft to do. No pictures of that, it was powdered plaster we needed to mix up and put in a mold. They will paint it tomorrow after it dries. As I had a fire going in the living room wood burner all 3 girls came down after supper to roast marshmallows.

Laundry Day
I didn't have any graham crackers but Sarah had some and sent a box down with the girls so we made s'mores with left over Halloween candy, roasted marshmallows and graham crackers.
Mark went shopping to fill the Christmas box and came back with plenty of things to put in it. I had asked him to pick up more paint brushes for the girls to paint their plaster craft tomorrow. We have the paint so are now good to go. The last load of laundry has been folded and put away and I'm done working for the day. The barn booked for Christmas Day. December is going to be a busy month. I also just found out I bought a whole beef which means the barn freezer needs to be emptied and turned off to defrost.
