Today we were expecting a couple of ladies from Wheaton College coming for a visit for lunch. They thought they would arrived between 10:30 am and 11:00 am. That gave me time to get the floors scrubbed, the bathroom cleaned and Mark even cleaned off his desk. I also had time to work on the game room in the barn. Mark couldn't find the bucket for the soft balls but the the only obvious place was behind the couch and that is where it was. Our guests arrived just after 11:00 am and after visiting a bit they wanted to see the horses and really enjoyed feeding Evan grass. He really is such a gentle stallion. We stopped in and saw Ruth and mom for a short visit before coming here to eat lunch. I gave them Fedi's book and they gave me a small mum plant. I know I know we are supposed to like flowers but since I don't do very well keeping them alive I'll take it over to mom's tomorrow and make whoever is staying there take care of it. As soon as they left I left for Tractor Supply to pick up grain. While waiting for the grain to be brought out I took a picture of the beautiful trees up on the hillside.

Grain
I only bought 6 of the 50 pound bags today and 3 were taken to the stall barn.
The two garbage cans in the feed stall just fit 3 bags. There was still grain left over from the last purchase so that was fed to the weanlings and of course Missy got some as she is now sharing their paddock. I didn't bother hauling the other 3 bags over to the breeding shed and just left them in the car. Those can be taken care of tomorrow morning. Eden and River came over as soon as they had their homework done to finish the craft they started yesterday. We were able to get the plaster molds out and those needed to be painted.
The 4 colors of paint that came with the craft were black, yellow, blue and pink but Eden wanted to paint the top of the pineapple green and she knew exactly what to do to get green.
She mixed the blue and the yellow together and it worked. River had a lot of fun painting hers.
We left for church just after 6:00 pm. David had a powerful message tonight and it was one we had been waiting for since his last message on the demon possessed man from Decapolis. Click HERE to watch that. We didn't go out to Culvers tonight. We were just too tired from that late night last night.
