Ken Ham

We had a late night last night but were still up at 5:30 am which now with the time change was 4:30 am. That made for a long morning before we needed to leave for church. Joan sent an update on mom texting: Mom is doing fine, she seems to be back to her old self. Someone sent Old as in 93 years old, that is REALLY old. Of course Ruth had to chime in on that one, Yeah that was kind of rude of Joan. It was a good update and we are thankful. Hannah and Jacob left yesterday morning around 10:00 am and made it home a little after midnight. We were so glad she was there to help when mom was having those chest pains.  We picked up Rhonda and made it to church by 9:30 am. Kathy and Randy brought Nancy for us. Caleb Plattner had the morning message, click HERE to watch that. Jim, Jane, Jesse and Erin gave lunch then Mike Kaisner had the afternoon message on the minor prophets click HERE to watch that.  We visited a bit after church and were not in a hurry to get home. There was no dinner to prepare as tonight we were going out to eat. Mike came over after church and was willing to help me get a video of Dahlia this afternoon. Dahlia was given a leading lesson and for the first time being led with the 4 wheeler.

After leading her around inside the round pen we let her go but did not push her just let her move a bit for the video. Then Mike took her around on the 4 wheeler. She did very well.
After the video she was given a carrot as a treat before putting her back in with the others.
Those siblings love it when Mike comes with the 4 wheeler bringing treats.
Spark and Rhonda picked us up at 4:15 pm and took us to the restaurant Good Tequilas where we joined David and Stephanie's family, Lee and Rhoda's family, Nolan and Sarah's family and Brian and Rebekah's family.

There were 22 for dinner. We barely had enough time to get to Grace Presbyterian church where Ken Ham was speaking at 6:00 am. We had to sit up in the balcony but got there before it began.
Spark, Rhoda, Mark and I were on one side while the kids and grandkids were sitting at the other side.
Ken talked for about an hour, took a break while someone else talked. It just so happened Rhoda and Zeke went down stairs and saw Ken.
Zeke was our only grand kid that got to have his picture taken with Ken.
By the time it was over we were dragging. It was about 8:20 pm but felt like midnight. I was glad we went. Ken did a great job explaining we need a firm foundation which starts with the Bible. That ride home was a long one. I was thankful Spark was driving.
