We were both up at 4:00 am and just decided to start the coffee maker early. I had a lot to do this morning before leaving for church. A double batch of brownies were mixed up and put in the oven to bake. While that was baking the ground beef browned, drained and made into taco meat. That was put out on the porch to cool down. It was plenty cold, in fact it was snowing out. The dishes were done and when I went to get the dishwasher soap from under the counter sink I noticed the mouse trap had moved. That had a live young mouse in it. It was squeaking and trying desperately to get out but it just wasn't possible as it was in backwards.

Engagement Announcement
I ended up putting the entire mouse trap outside and tried again but just couldn't get it out.
We had to clean the snow off the car before leaving for church this morning.
We pulled in at the church parking lot right after Randy and Kathy who had Nancy in the car. Evidently Randy was trying to sing Jingle Bells and Nancy decided that was NOT allowed since it isn't Christmas yet. Gregg Rumbold had the morning message on Psalm 27 and Colossians 3 the first 4 verses. Click HERE to watch that. After the message Craig got up to have the announcements and first announced 3 for baptism, Ted, Tim and Berlica. Interesting that all 3 of them lost their dads. There were quite a few announcements and finally Craig announced Faith Reinhard to Andrew Schaffer. Afternoon service was the reading of the memorandum. Click HERE to watch that. We took Elisabet and Eliana home from church. They found the old craft tubs and had such a good time. Zion, Eden and River joined them.
David and Stephanie were hosting the junior Bible class at the barn so the cooking was done at the house. Rhoda and Sarah both arrived and we enjoyed visiting until 4:30 pm then they helped load up all the food for supper. We had a good turnout for dinner then as the weather was not nice all of the outdoor activities were all moved indoor and we had a big crowd for volleyball and lots of kids using the game room. Below is just one volley.
The new couple Andrew and Faith came over after supper so Faith could introduce Andrew to all of the cousins. Joan hosted his entire family at mom's house so they all came too.
Below is a video of just some of the evening activities at the barn.
The games went on quite late and the kids had such a good time. Rhoda was willing to take Nancy home. What an awesome Sunday!
