Pretty Fingers Pretty Toes

We had a good productive day at Berean. Tim Martin dropped of 15 cases of Bibles and we were almost able to get the requests that came in today except we ran out of postage AGAIN! We had a big gift come in, 4 THOUSAND jumbo paper clips.
You see had pretty much run out of the last 1600 donated and one of our graders despises the small paper clips which we were being forced to use. Below is Rachel, she wasn't too happy every box was empty and she was the one last week that had worked hard to fill. Not really she is more than happy to try to keep these boxes full for our huge Tuesday mailing.
Below Eva Jean is busy processing the studies, for some reason she is almost always happy. Probably because she is not in charge of keeping the boxes full.
Marie and Timothy showed up to take one of our helpers away for the day. Emily went with her mom and brother shopping. Notice her happy smile, she was just so glad to be rescued from us slave drivers.
Lisa gave us 3 of her children for the morning. We are always thrilled to have them. When Tim arrived with the Bibles we formed a chain with these 3 plus Mark and I and were able to get the 15 boxes of Bibles taken right into our room for processing.
Diane R arrived to read letters. She is probably checking zip codes on her phone. We get a lot of mail in that doesn't have all the required information. Thank goodness for smart phones. We speak and it answers.
Right after lunch I drove to the DMV to get my license renewed waited in line for OVER 2 hours and did not get the job accomplished. What a waste of time. I'll have to try next week.
Rhoda, as a gift took 10 of us to Tip Top Nails and gave us pedicures and manicures. We all have pretty fingers and pretty toes for the big wedding. Below Christy, Lee's sister, is just getting ready to sit for hers, Rhoda as the bride was worked on first and check out that scared look on Karin. She is just sure they are bringing out the power tools for her toenails.
WE offered to bring in the hoof nippers. Below she is much relieved when the hoof nippers were not allowed in.
Emily was a bit worried too, these farm girls are not easy on their feet.
Below they have finished Christy and my toes and are working on our fingernails while they are STILL working on Karin's toes. Yep they should have brought in the power tools.
Below Sarah is waiting for someone to start on her while Emily is probably calling someone to come help rescue her.
Finally they finished with Karin's toes and put these gorgeous lime green shoes on her for the rest of the evening out.
Below is Taunya, Anna and Amanda all pretty relaxed about what was going to happen. One would think these girls have had this before, none of them were at all worried.
They stuck Stephanie off in a chair all by herself. Not sure why maybe they were afraid she would rile up the rest of us.

Above they were posing for a group picture when we realized Anna was in a chair drying her nails and as Sarah was the last one done her nails were being worked on. They grabbed Anna's chair and rolled her right into the group picture but the man working on Sarah's wouldn't let her go so she is not in the picture below.
Anna fingernails were not dry so Taunya and Stephanie were the good sisters and put her shoes on for her.

We finished up the evening with dinner at Red Robin. A special thanks to Rhoda for giving us all this gift of a night of pampering. I think she is doing what ever it takes to make her mom presentable to the public for the wedding.
